From the first conversation to the snag list, the work moves through six phases. The same principals stay on the project from the first sketch to the last fit.
Listen
We start with the brief, the budget, and the light. Mostly the light. The first conversation is about the people who will use the room, not the room itself.
Study
Back in the studio: references, plans, and the first material directions. We work the references against the site before a single wall is drawn.
Draw
Drawings and a full material schedule. Nothing goes to site without a sample in the hand. The schedule names every plaster, stone, wood, and metal by finish.
Build
On site, weekly. We build what we draw and fix what the drawing missed. The hand that drew it is the hand that checks it against the wall.
Craft
Joinery and finish, made in our workshop and fit by hand. Oak, stone, and matte metal, prototyped, built, and brought to site as one fitted piece.
Hand over
We hand over a finished room, on time, snag list closed. The keys go back, the protective film comes off, and the room is yours to live in.
Our promise · 100% on time
On time, or 50% of our fee waived.
We put the timeline in the contract. If we miss the agreed handover date, half of our fee is waived. We have never had to.
