Slow Burn
A tabletop campaign shot at 1000 frames a second, where steam, oil and spice become the whole story.
The brief
Saanjh makes a chilli oil that people are quietly obsessed with. The brief was to make that obsession visible. We shot the entire campaign on a high speed camera so a single pour becomes a slow, deliberate ritual.
Food styling and camera worked as one unit, timing every drip and dust of spice to the frame rate. A motion control arm repeated each move exactly so we could layer passes in post.
The grade kept everything warm and close, with one cool note in the background so the food always reads first.
