Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Counter plan is free for one user and one device with unlimited invoices — no trial expiry, no card required. You only pay when you need more users, inventory or automation.
Do I need to be online to bill?
No. On Showroom and Enterprise plans, Folio works fully offline — billing, printing and stock updates continue right through internet outages and power cuts, and everything syncs automatically when you're back online.
Can I move my data from Tally, Vyapar or Excel?
Yes. Free guided migration is included on all paid plans. Items, parties, opening balances and pending invoices are imported by our team, usually within one working day.
Is my data safe? Where is it stored?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in Indian data centres, and backed up every five minutes. You can export everything — invoices, ledgers, reports — at any time. It's your data, always.
What happens when GST rules change?
Folio updates itself. Rate changes, new return formats and e-invoice mandates roll out to all plans automatically — usually before the deadline, always without extra charges.
Can my CA access the account?
Yes — every paid plan includes a free, read-only CA login with access to reports, GST packs and ledgers. No more emailing Excel files at month-end.
