Department 02 · Colour & Balayage
The art of
colour.
Good colour is invisible. You do not notice the technique, you just look like the light has started liking you. Painted by hand, read in daylight, protected at the bond, and revealed to the only critic that counts.
Strand test on every formula · Olaplex available · Tue–Sun · 11 AM – 9 PM

The colour bar
Mixed for one
head. Yours.
Every formula is weighed and mixed at the bar for the head it is going on, never decanted from yesterday, never a shade off the shelf. Bond-protector goes into the bowl as a rule, not an upsell, so lightening costs your hair nothing it cannot afford.
In partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel and Olaplex. Used by prescription, priced without ceremony.
The menu
Priced by the
canvas.
Colour has no flat rate. Length, density and where you are starting from all decide the hour and the gram. Prices are from, and the strand test makes them exact before any colour touches your hair.
Olaplex Bond Insurance
A full bond-rebuilding system worked through the lightener and sealed at the basin. For ambitious lifts, repeat lighteners and hair that has earned a little protection.
The journey
Four steps to the
reveal.
No colour at AAINA is rushed and none is guessed. Every formula earns its place through the same four movements, with the strand test the one nobody skips.
- 01Consult
In daylight, against your skin, with a swatch ring and an honest conversation about your hair's history and your wash routine. We design the colour before we mix a gram.
- 02Strand Test
A discreet section lightened first, always, no exceptions. It tells us how your hair will lift, how long it needs, and whether the screenshot is a promise we can keep.
- 03Paint
Foil, freehand or board, by a hand that has done it ten thousand times. Bond-protector worked through the lightener so the colour and the hair both survive.
- 04Gloss & Reveal
Toned at the basin, glossed to a finish, blow-dried out. Then the chair turns to the mirror, the moment the whole department is built around.

Length & volume
Extensions, coloured
to disappear.
The blend is the whole craft. We colour the wefts to your exact tone first, then place them at the crown and sides so the join vanishes and the movement stays your own. Length the camera believes and the wind does not betray.
Extensions are read alongside your colour so the tone is matched under the same light. Maintenance visits every six to eight weeks keep the join invisible.

The hand behind the colour
Painted by a
director.
Our Colour Director reads hair the way a painter reads canvas: what it will hold, what it will refuse, and where the light should land. Lived-in balayage and quiet, expensive-looking colour are her signature, and a strand test is her religion.
Bringing a screenshot? Bring it. We will tell you honestly what your hair can give it, and how many visits the rest will take.
“Good colour is invisible. You just look like the light likes you.”
