How a stone reads
The four Cs, in plain language
A diamond gives an account of itself in four measures. We read all four before a stone enters the vitrine, and we record them on the certificate that travels with it.
Colour
Graded D to Z. Our solitaires begin at G, our high jewellery at D.
Clarity
From Internally Flawless to VS. Each inclusion mapped on the certificate.
Carat
Weight, recorded to the hundredth. Never the only measure of a stone.

Provenance
How a stone is certified
A certificate is not a formality. It is the stone telling the truth about itself, written down by an independent house. Here is the path every solitaire travels before it reaches you.

Selection at the rough
We choose for fire, not for weight. Each rough is studied for weeks before a facet is cut.

Cutting and polishing
The lapidary opens the stone, then the cutter raises every facet by hand and angle.

Independent grading
The finished stone travels to IGI or GIA, where the four Cs are recorded and the inclusions mapped.

Sealed and numbered
The report is issued with a lot number, laser inscribed on the girdle and registered with the maison.

Every stone in the collection carries a panel like this one, drawn from its independent report. The lot number is laser inscribed on the girdle, too small for the eye, plain to the loupe.
Read it alongside the stone, never instead of it. A report tells you what a diamond is. A viewing tells you whether it is yours.
