A room behind the salon, kept for stones that arrive once in a generation. Sourced for a single owner, set by hand, shown privately and never priced in public.
Exceptional Stones
A great stone is not bought, it is met. It waits in the rough for years, then for the one hand willing to read it before the first facet is cut.
The pieces of the Rare Room begin at the mine. We trace each stone to its origin, Burmese ruby, Colombian emerald, the whitest of diamonds, and follow it through the bench until it sits in light, not in metal. There are no editions and no repeats. What enters this room is shown to a few, and kept by one.

The Rare Room
Burmese ruby and old-cut diamond suite, platinum.
A morning suite. Pigeon-blood rubies from old Burmese mines, paired with old-cut diamonds that hold the warmth of candlelight, all carried in platinum so the colour answers only to the stone.

The Rare Room
Graduated brilliant-cut rivière necklace with detachable pendant.
A river of light worn at the throat. Brilliants graduated to the hundredth, hand-matched for whiteness and fire, with a centre pendant that lifts away to be worn alone.

The Rare Room
Colombian emerald cabochon centrepiece, brilliant surround.
A garden, kept. A single Colombian emerald cabochon, its jardin read as proof of origin, set in a quiet brilliant surround so the green is the only voice in the room.

Savoir-Faire
For the Rare Room, fire is read before weight. A rough may be studied for months, mapped, and turned in the hand a hundred times before a single facet is committed.
Every stone arrives with its laboratory report and its lot number, the four Cs recorded to the hundredth, the origin noted, any treatment disclosed in full. We would rather lose a stone than soften a fact about it.
