Coaching
Personal coaching at SOMA is a system, not a sales floor. It starts with measurement and never stops being reviewed.
The method
A session is an hour. A system is an assessment, a written block, a coach who watches every rep, and a retest that keeps the plan honest.
Every coaching client at SOMA trains on paper before they train on the floor. Your coach builds the block, runs the sessions and sits with you each month to read the numbers. If you train between sessions, the program covers those days too.
The same method runs every group class in the building — just with more eyes per athlete here.
Four moves
Ninety minutes of measurement. Body composition, a movement screen, strength baselines and a conversation about the life your plan has to fit.
A written block, four to six weeks at a time. Every session, set and rest is decided before you walk in.
Sessions on the floor with your coach. Technique corrected in the rep, loads adjusted to the day you actually had.
A monthly retest against your baselines. The numbers move, or the program does. Nothing drifts.
The assessment
You cannot program what you have not measured. Every plan at SOMA begins in the assessment room.
A bioimpedance body-composition scan reads muscle mass, fat percentage and segmental balance — left against right, upper against lower. A movement screen finds the ranges you have and the ones your training will need. Strength and conditioning baselines turn the first month into arithmetic instead of opinion.
