Acceptance And Scope
By creating a seller account, submitting onboarding documents, purchasing a subscription plan or listing a storefront on Mr Rasoi, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, firm or company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity. These terms apply to sellers. Customers who order food through Mr Rasoi are covered by the customer terms shown in the customer app.
- These terms apply to every seller account on Mr Rasoi, whether a home kitchen or a registered restaurant.
- Our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Service Delivery Policy are incorporated into these terms by reference.
- If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not register a seller account or purchase a subscription.
What Mr Rasoi Is, And What It Is Not
Mr Rasoi is software. We license you access to a seller dashboard, a customer-facing storefront, menu and order management tools, and a discovery feed that shows you to nearby customers. We do not cook, prepare, package, sell, own, resell or deliver food, and we are not a party to the sale of any food item. Every food order is a direct contract between you and your customer. Our role begins and ends with providing the software and the optional delivery arrangement described in section 7.
- We provide software access on a subscription basis. We do not sell food.
- Each food order is a direct transaction between the seller and the customer.
- We do not act as an agent, escrow holder, or payment collector for any food order.
- We do not warrant, endorse or guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any item a seller lists.
How Order Payments Work, And Zero Commission
Customers pay you directly. Payment is made either into your own UPI handle, which you register during onboarding, or in cash on delivery, according to what you and the customer choose. That money moves from the customer to you without passing through us at any point. Because we never receive the order value, we take no commission from it, there is no settlement cycle to wait for, and no payout is held by us. Our entire revenue from you is the subscription fee and, if you choose to buy them, prepaid delivery credits.
- Order payments go straight to the UPI handle registered on your seller account, or are collected by you in cash.
- 4AM TECH IO PVT LTD does not collect, hold, escrow or settle the money for any food order.
- We charge 0% commission on order value. There is no per-order cut of any kind.
- Our only charges to you are the monthly subscription and any prepaid delivery credits you buy.
- Because we do not receive the order money, we cannot refund a food order. Refunds for food are handled by you directly with your customer.
Eligibility And Seller Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in India to register as a seller. You must register under one of the two seller types, Restaurant and Cafe or Home Kitchen, and provide accurate information for the type you select. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for every action taken from your account.
- You must be 18 or above and legally competent to contract under Indian law.
- One seller account represents one kitchen or outlet. Additional outlets need their own account and subscription.
- All information you submit must be true, current and complete, and must be updated when it changes.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out under your seller login.
Onboarding, Documents And Verification
Before your storefront goes live, you complete a guided onboarding flow and upload the documents relevant to your seller type. Our team reviews every submission. Verification is a check that the documents you supplied appear valid and match your application. It is not a certification of your food quality, hygiene standards or continuing legal compliance, and it does not transfer any part of your regulatory responsibility to us.
- Restaurants and cafes: commercial FSSAI licence, and GST certificate where applicable.
- Home kitchens: Aadhaar and PAN for KYC, Home FSSAI registration where applicable, and kitchen and dish photographs.
- We may approve, reject with a reason, or ask you to resubmit. We may also re-verify at any time.
- A verified badge reflects a document check only. It is not a guarantee by us of food quality or safety.
- Submitting false, altered or borrowed documents is grounds for immediate suspension without refund.
Subscription Plans, Billing And The 30-Day Cycle
Mr Rasoi is sold as a flat monthly subscription. Home Kitchen is Rs 1,499 per month and Restaurants and Cafes is Rs 2,999 per month, both exclusive of 18% GST, which is added on the invoice. The subscription covers unlimited orders with no commission. Your 30-day billing cycle does not begin on the day you pay. It begins only when your first order is successfully delivered, so a delay in going live does not consume the period you paid for. Renewal is not automatic unless you have separately set up an auto-debit mandate, in which case the terms of that mandate and the pre-debit notification sent by our payment gateway apply.
- Home Kitchen: Rs 1,499 per month plus 18% GST. Restaurants and Cafes: Rs 2,999 per month plus 18% GST.
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees. GST is added on the invoice and a GST invoice is issued.
- Unlimited orders are included. No commission is charged on order value at any volume.
- The 30-day cycle starts on your first successful delivery, not on the date of payment.
- If you set up an auto-debit or e-mandate, you receive a pre-debit notification before each debit through the payment gateway, and you can cancel the mandate from that notification at any time.
- Launch pricing is a promotional rate. Renewal pricing may change, and any change is communicated in writing before it applies to you.
Prepaid Delivery Credits
Delivery credits are an optional prepaid balance you can top up if you would rather have a delivery arranged for you instead of sending your own rider. When a credit-funded delivery is used, the applicable amount is deducted from your balance. Credits are a prepaid balance for a service, not money held on deposit, and they are not a wallet, stored-value instrument or payment instrument of any kind.
- Credits are optional. If you deliver with your own rider or arrange a parcel service yourself, you never need them.
- Credits are non-transferable, cannot be moved between accounts, and cannot be withdrawn as cash.
- Credits can be used only to pay for deliveries arranged through the platform.
- Unused credits do not expire while your account remains active. Refunds of unused credits are covered in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Your Responsibilities As A Seller
You are solely responsible for the food you prepare and sell and for operating within the law that applies to you. This includes food safety and hygiene, holding and maintaining the licences and registrations required for your type of operation, declaring ingredients and allergens accurately, and honouring the prices, portions and timings you publish. We provide the software; the kitchen and everything that leaves it is yours.
- Obtain and maintain FSSAI registration or licence as applicable to your operation, and GST registration where the law requires it.
- Follow all applicable food safety, hygiene, labelling, packaging and consumer protection laws.
- Keep your menu, prices, portion sizes, veg and non-veg markings and availability accurate at all times.
- Declare ingredients and known allergens honestly, and never misrepresent what a dish contains.
- Honour orders you accept, keep to your published timings, and mark yourself closed or sold out rather than letting a customer order what you cannot deliver.
- Handle customer complaints about food, packaging or delivery yourself, fairly and promptly.
Delivery Of Orders
How an order reaches the customer is your decision. You may deliver with your own staff, book a parcel service such as a bike-taxi or courier yourself, or use prepaid delivery credits to have a delivery arranged through the platform. Where a delivery is arranged through the platform, it is fulfilled by an independent third-party delivery provider, and that provider, not us, carries out the delivery. In every case the condition, temperature, packaging and safety of the food remain your responsibility.
- You choose the delivery method: your own rider, a parcel service you book, or platform-arranged delivery using credits.
- Platform-arranged deliveries are performed by independent third-party providers, who are not our employees or agents.
- Packaging the food so it survives the journey is your responsibility.
- Delivery timings shown in the app are estimates and depend on distance, traffic, rider availability and your own preparation time.
Customer Data
To fulfil an order you receive the customer's name, contact number and delivery address. That information is provided to you for the sole purpose of completing that order and dealing with any issue arising from it. Customer data collected through the platform belongs to the platform, and you may not export it, build a separate marketing list from it, sell it, or use it to contact customers outside the context of their orders.
- Use customer details only to fulfil and support the specific order they relate to.
- Do not export, scrape, copy or sell customer data collected through the platform.
- Do not send marketing messages to customers using contact details obtained through an order.
- Handle any customer information you receive securely and in line with applicable data protection law.
Suspension And Termination
We may suspend or terminate a seller account where there is a genuine reason to do so, including a breach of these terms, a failure to hold a required licence, credible complaints about food safety, fraudulent or misleading listings, misuse of customer data, or conduct that puts customers or the platform at risk. Where circumstances allow, we give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue first. In cases involving food safety, fraud or legal risk, suspension may be immediate.
- Grounds include breach of these terms, false documents, lapsed licences, food safety complaints, and misuse of customer data.
- We give prior notice and a chance to correct the issue where circumstances reasonably allow.
- Immediate suspension applies in cases of food safety risk, fraud, or legal compulsion.
- You may close your account at any time by writing to us. The financial consequences of closure are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Limitation Of Liability And Indemnity
The platform is provided on an as-is basis. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the subscription amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Because we neither prepare nor sell food, any claim arising from food, its quality, safety, description or delivery lies against the seller, and you agree to indemnify us against claims of that kind brought by your customers or by any authority.
- The platform is provided as-is, without a warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost orders or lost goodwill.
- Our aggregate liability is capped at the subscription fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
- You indemnify us against claims relating to the food you prepare, list, sell or deliver, and against claims arising from your failure to hold a required licence.
